THE PHILOSOPHY BEHIND THE FOUNDERS
Medical Tourism Panama was started by an American who fell in love with Panama while on a visit in 2000. He returned to buy several properties; one of them was close to the new Punta Pacifica Hospital. It occurred to him that people travel to far away cities all over the world for low cost surgery. Yet Panama has everything to offer and is much closer to mainland USA and Canada. This new hospital is a state of the art facility with qualified surgeons and experienced doctors. Hospital Punta Pacifica is the only facility in the Latin American and Caribbean region to be affiliated with Johns Hopkins Medicine International.
In many cases, patients have had to put their lives on hold due to the high cost of appropriate medical care or the long waiting lists as Canadians Experience. Born into the middle of a family of eight, he quickly showed eclectic taste and a need to be involved in...well...everything.
He started working at an early age of 15, running his own business raising horses and running Garden State sanctioned horse shows. He later joined the Rotary Club of Roseland becoming club president twice. Michael served on the Rotary District 747 level and was the assistant to several District Governors as well as Conference Chairman. He received the Paul Harris Fellow Award five times. Michael founded the Roseland First Aid Squad's Board of Trustees and served as Chairman and Vice Chairman several times in his 15 years of service. He served 9 years on the Board of Trustees for Caldwell College. He also served on the Board of Trustees for United Way of North Essex for 3 terms
On a business level, he couldn't fail to achieve. Michael became the president of the family construction materials business in 1986 and became the sole owner in 1992. In 1999, Michael became one of the founding fathers of U.S. Concrete, Inc. listed on the NASDAQ Exchange. He served as regional president of the Atlantic Region for five years; over twelve years on the National Ready Mixed Concrete Association Board and was a founding board member of New Jersey Concrete and Aggregate Association.
Today he enjoys sailing, trimming his golf score, fly fishing and snow skiing. Best of all, he enjoys spending time with his three grown children, Melissa, Dawn and Daniel, his inspiration and joy!
Attending Southern Oregon State College, Analisa studied psychology. She graduated from Harcum Junior College in Bryn Mawr, PA, majoring in Travel and Tourism.
Analisa has taken several training courses in Quality Control, Positive Thinking, Redefine Your Business, Certified Cruise Counselor and Real Estate, among others.
With 23 years experience in the travel business, Analisa's first job was as a Sales Executive with an International Airline. Later she worked for Chadwick Travel Service at Albrook Airforce Base in Panama.
In 1985 she moved to Miami, FL and worked at Around the World Travel as a Travel Consultant for the Government Department.
Returning to Panama, Analisa acquired a Sales Manager position with Executive Travel. Her responsibilities included taking care of administrative decisions, Sales and Advertising Strategies, Quality Control and VIP corporate clients; attending to their personal needs.
Analisa has been responsible for several International Congresses, which entailed coordinating transportation, protocol, entertainment, educational and motivational seminars, banquet arrangements and hotel accommodations.
Her objective is to pursue quality and excellence in the organization, as in life, and promoting new ideas.
Joe Has been a certified travel professional since 1991 with many group tours to exciting destinations within South America, Australia and Europe. We are very happy that he joined our team in July 2010 to develop the Costa Rica Medical Tourism Market.
His duties will be to find and contract procedure's with participating Cosmetic Surgeons and Dental professionals. He will locate first class resorts for post surgical rehabilitation and relaxation. His many years experience will be key in finding the best places to stay within Costa Rica.
